The Rat Pak helps you find San Francisco’s electronic nightlife: club nights, warehouse parties, queer dance floors, and late-night discoveries.

Rat Queen spotlights queer-centered nightlife. The Den brings together warehouse, underground, hardcore, and late-night events. Rat Signal is where we share announcements.

We curate listings from public sources and promoter submissions. We are an event-discovery platform; a listing does not mean we organize the event or sell its tickets. Always confirm details with the organizer.

Private locations stay private. TBA means the location is yet to be announced; undisclosed means it is not publicly shared here.

PRIVACY POLICY

Updated September 16, 2026. This notice describes the current The Rat Pak website and visitor accounts. Exchange messages are available on this site; email, SMS and push alerts are not enabled.

Information we process

Browsing does not require an account. Promoter submissions include contact email and event information. Contact email is kept in the private review system; approved event details and supplied artwork may be published. Visitor and administrator sign-in is handled by Supabase. Visitor accounts store email, a username, optional display name, a selected logo avatar, saved events and private preferences. Profiles are private in this version. Resend delivers verification and password-reset emails.

If you accept optional analytics, we record page and event views, ticket-link clicks, timestamps, and a random browser-session identifier. Our analytics records do not include your name, email, full browsing URLs, or raw IP address. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses and technical request logs independently.

Ticket Exchange

We store listings, private sourcing requests, on-site messages, reports, moderation decisions and account restrictions. Approved listing details and your Instagram username are public when you choose Instagram contact. Sourcing requests are visible to you and administrators. Delivered messages are visible to their participants and administrators; held messages are visible to their sender and administrators. Moderators can inspect conversations for abuse. No ticket files or attachments are accepted. Exchange review history has no automatic deletion schedule. Account deletion removes linked active listings and messages; limited audit records can remain without an account reference.

How we use information

We use submission information to review and maintain event listings, communicate about submissions, and investigate abuse. Optional analytics helps us understand site use and outbound ticket referrals. We use technical and security information to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

Browser storage and your choices

Your cookie choice is valid for 180 days, after which we ask again. The stored choice can remain in your browser until replaced or cleared. Optional analytics uses session storage with a 30-minute inactivity expiry; closing a tab normally clears that session storage. Analytics is off until you accept it. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops future analytics and removes the local analytics identifier; it does not automatically erase records already collected.

Sign-in storage keeps visitor and administrator sessions signed in until sign-out or expiry. Local storage also remembers which Rat Signal announcements you have read, until you clear it. Cloudflare Turnstile checks promoter submissions and authentication for abuse. These functional/security features are separate from optional analytics.

Service providers and external links

Vercel hosts the site; Supabase provides database, authentication, and backend services; Cloudflare provides bot checks; Resend processes recipient addresses and account email delivery. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and event images may load from third-party hosts. Those requests disclose technical connection information to their providers. Ticket, artist, and other external websites operate under their own policies. Some ticket links may be affiliate or referral links.

Disclosures

Approved listing content is public. Private records are available only to authorized administrators and service providers supporting the site, except where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights, or respond to a valid legal request. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Tracking signals

The site does not use browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to change its optional analytics setting. Optional analytics stays off unless you explicitly accept it through Cookie Settings. We do not use this analytics system to track you across other websites. External services and linked websites have their own data practices.

Adult accounts and birthdays

Accounts are for adults 18 and older. After email confirmation, your full birthdate is submitted for a server-side age check. Our application retains only the month, day and the time of your adult self-declaration, not your birth year or full birthdate. This is self-declared age, not identity verification. Your birthday and preferences are private. Event admission rules still apply.

Retention and security

Submission records and review history are retained to operate and maintain listings and address abuse. Analytics records currently have no automatic deletion schedule. We will update this notice when a retention schedule is implemented. Browser preferences can be cleared in your browser settings; service-provider logs and backups have separate retention periods.

We use access controls to restrict private records. No internet service can promise absolute security. We do not intentionally collect payment-card details or identity documents through this website.

Your requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and records we need to retain. We may need to verify your request. You can edit your private profile and preferences, remove saved events, and delete your visitor account in My Nest. Account deletion removes these active account records; provider backups and security logs may persist under their retention policies. Public profiles, comments, ticket checkout, SMS and push subscriptions are not enabled.

Changes to this notice

We will post revisions here and update the date above. Material changes to collection or use will be explained on the site before they take effect where required. Any new optional tracking purpose will require an updated choice.

TERMS OF USE

These terms describe use of The Rat Pak’s event-discovery website. Free visitor accounts let adults 18 and older save events and private preferences. Provide accurate age information, keep your credentials secure, and do not impersonate others. Email confirmation and an adult age declaration are required to use member features. The Ticket Exchange supports listings and inquiries; checkout and paid membership are not enabled.

Event listings and ticket links

The Rat Pak provides nightlife information and links to third-party organizers and sellers. Dates, venues, prices, availability, and admission requirements can change. Confirm them with the organizer before travelling or purchasing. The linked seller’s terms govern purchases, transfers, cancellations, and refunds. The Rat Pak does not guarantee entry, ticket validity, or an event’s safety.

Submissions and permissions

Submit accurate information and only material you own or have permission to share. By submitting, you give The Rat Pak a non-exclusive permission to display, format, and edit the submitted material for the listing and its promotion on this site. You retain your underlying rights. Do not submit private addresses, confidential arrival instructions, or personal information without permission. Submissions are reviewed and may be rejected, corrected, or removed.

Submission permission is limited to operating and promoting the listing on this website; it does not transfer ownership. You are responsible for obtaining permissions from artists, photographers, and other rights holders. Contact us to request a correction or removal; limited review and security records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ticket Exchange agreement

Fans helping fans. No scalping. List only genuine extra tickets you own and can transfer, for no more than 15% above their original cost including original mandatory fees. Professional brokers, speculative listings and scalping are prohibited. The Rat Pak fee is added separately. Listings require approval; approval does not verify ticket authenticity. Never post ticket codes, receipts, private addresses or payment details. No uploads are accepted. Confirmed abuse can lead to suspension or permanent restriction of member features, with human review available. No monetary penalties apply.

After selling a ticket, the seller must not use it, void or cancel it, reclaim it, transfer or sell it to anyone else, or collect payment more than once for the same ticket. Remove other listings and mark it sold promptly. Completed sales are final for a change of mind; this does not excuse invalid tickets, non-delivery or misrepresentation, or override applicable law or the ticket provider’s cancellation and refund rules.

The proposed buyer service fee is 5% of the asking price, capped at $10 per ticket. Displayed totals include this proposed fee, but checkout and fee collection are disabled. Transfers and transactions arranged through Instagram occur outside The Rat Pak. No delivery, refund or buyer-protection service is currently provided by The Rat Pak.

Acceptable use

Do not submit spam, scams, impersonation, threats, harassment, unlawful content, or material infringing another person’s rights. Do not try to access private records or bypass security controls. We may restrict abusive access or remove content. Respect each event’s age and admission rules.

Event artwork, artist names, promoter logos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or transfer of ownership. Rights holders may request review of material by identifying the listing, the protected work, and their authority to act.

Copyright concerns

A copyright complaint should identify the protected work, the specific page or material at issue, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to contact you. Do not include unnecessary identity documents or other sensitive information. This notice does not claim registration of a DMCA agent or guarantee statutory safe-harbor protection.

Availability and your rights

We aim to keep information useful and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free listings. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Exchange agreement applies to all Exchange submissions and inquiries.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes and will show the revision date on this page. Changes do not remove rights that applicable law protects.
